How to Force SSL on a Jigsy Subdomain

We now offer SSL on our free *.jigsy.com subdomains which are available on our Jigsy websites!

If your Jigsy website was created before November 2nd, 2022, this setting will be disabled by default and you will be able to access your website through both the http://*.jigsy.com/ and https://*.jigsy.com URLs. If you would prefer your website to always be accessed through the secure HTTPS URL, you can enable the ability to force HTTPS, which will redirect all HTTP requests to HTTPS.

If your Jigsy website was created after November 2nd, 2022, then no action is required and your *.jigsy.com subdomain will force HTTPS by default.

How to Force SSL on your Jigsy Subdomain

  1. Login to your Jigsy account.
  2. Click on the vertical ellipses in the bottom right corner of your website.
  3. Select "Enable Free SSL".

Please be aware that this option is only available on our free Jigsy subdomains. If you have your own custom domain name, you will need to obtain and install your own SSL certificate for your domain. If you would like to learn more about how to obtain an SSL certificate on your own domain name, please see our article on Adding an SSL Certificate.
